Sherita Perez is a songwriter and performer whose original music is rooted in nature, community, and lived experience. A captivating vocalist with a wide-ranging, virtuosic voice, she draws on 30 years of live performance and more than 16 years of touring across the U.S. and internationally, building songs the way a journalist builds a story — through travel, field research, interviews, and collaboration. The result is music that doesn't just perform a place or a cause, it tells the truth of it, delivered with the craft of a seasoned touring artist and the curiosity of someone who actually shows up.

We had the privilege of working with the very talented Sherita Perez on a conservation songwriting project, and the collaboration was enjoyable and productive!
