Sherita met a wonderful group of firefighters in Northern California. They talked about topics like fire safety, the wildlands, and what important information needs to be shared with the public. What was created out of this meeting was several songs that reflect topics that speak to the heart and communicate a memorable Public Service Announcement.
“Pack It In, Pack It Out” is the first of these tracks to be released.

I’ll Help You Make It Through This Christmas

Sherita Perez

“I’ll Help You Make It through this Christmas” came out all at once at a time when I really needed it. It was written in support of suicide prevention and end of life care. It’s about honoring our care takers and one another. It’s about being there for each other in times of need and sharing those intangible gifts of love, care, kindness and time.

The Emerald EP is a three song album written by Sherita Perez in The Emerald Triangle. The Emerald Triangle an area in Northern California. It is made up of three counties, Humboldt County, Medocino County and Trinadad County. This area is a special and beautiful place where cannabis has been cultivated illegally and successfully for decades. This area is the Wild West and is full of outlaws and farmers from all over the world. A unique community has been created here. It's a place where fortunes have been made, nature is abundant, art is everywhere and cannabis is too. As we bolt towards a new era of legalization (The Green Rush), some will prosper, others will be broken and the landscape of this community will be forever changed. None of it is fair and some of it is hart breaking. I'm just lucky enough to have been here to capture some of it in songs before the culture is gone forever.
